Anna Griffin

PROJECT COORDINATOR + TEAM ADMINISTRATOR

Do the mahi, get the treats.

This was Anna Griffin’s grandma’s strictly enforced policy. In that order. Mahi first, treats after. And it has stayed with the Mount Maunganui-born girl, who joined Envelope to get things in order at the Bay of Plenty base in 2023. Anna freely describes herself as a “grandma’s girl”, with her grandmother being a huge influence on her earlier life. She learned so many life lessons from her and feels those influences in the way she lives her life now.

“It was handy she lived in the house next door. That made escaping to gran’s so much easier!”

Anna has lived in Canterbury and Taranaki, but always comes back to the Bay. With a genuine passion for helping people and a desire to want to give back, she thought growing up she would become a nurse. But when her grandmother needed some time a semester into nursing training, Anna moved back and into the face-paced world of fashion retail. She loved making people feel good about themselves and with no two days the same, retail was a great fit which developed into a love for leading a team.

“I love learning, growth and a challenge so this was me to a tee.”

Even early on at Envelope, Anna loved the feeling of being one big family. The people and the culture were second to none, with a genuine care for each other and work - life balance.

Anna freely confesses she can’t get into gear in the morning without coffee. Her addiction to coffee is serious and life-altering. In fact, there are rumours at the Mount office she had a clause about regular caffeine infusions written into her contract. And if you want something done at the office, bringing Anna a coffee will probably get you to the front of the queue!

Outside of work, once Anna fuels up with caffeine she heads out of the house, looking for an adventure, often with her dog Blu by her side. She also loves playing guitar. When out with friends, Anna enjoys a Prosecco and trying new food, the spicier the better. And she is a great supporter of sports teams including the Chiefs, and the All Blacks. And is a dyed-in-the-wool supporter of the Warriors.

In her own words: “Absolutely love it. I am all over it. Up the Wahs!”

And she is forever hopeful the team will triumph with a huge season. Do the mahi, get the treats. The Warriors and the ABs included.
