Growing up with the Fijian sun warming his face, Alan has always liked life a bit on the hot side.
Alan, whose father was a surveyor and survey manager for more than for four decades, learned the craft playing at his dad’s feet as he worked, first in Fiji then New Zealand.
He learned from his father and his own grounding at a large firm what he wanted – and what he did not want - when he set up Envelope in 2015. These days Team Envelope is diverse, creative, hardworking and above all, a cooperative unit.
Alan has been involved in a broad range of rural and urban residential, commercial and industrial development projects providing engineering, design and construction solutions. His work is innovative and reliable, and always has a tailored, personal touch.
Strong networks and client relationships, with some working with Envelope from day one, are something Alan takes pride in.
Alan also has strong relationships with councils across the country, having worked as a development engineer and provided engineering advice over the years.
Outside work, Alan loves spending time in the outdoors, and with his wife and son. Though as he calls Wellington his home these days, there is a little less sun on his face. Luckily, he has a passion for spicy food to keep the heat level high.
